The education sector, particularly in vocational fields, demands a learning system that can produce graduates with competencies aligned with industry requirements. One approach that has been implemented to achieve this goal is Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which focuses on achieving measurable learning outcomes relevant to workforce needs. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum in improving students' competencies in the Bakery course. Using a meta-analysis approach, this study collected data from various research conducted at educational institutions that applied OBE in Bakery learning. The analysis results indicate that OBE implementation significantly enhances students' understanding of fundamental concepts in baking and practical skills needed in the bakery industry. Furthermore, OBE has been proven to improve critical thinking skills and teamwork abilities, which are highly relevant to the demands of the workforce in this sector. This study also found that employing an outcome-based approach in the curriculum positively impacts students' learning motivation by emphasizing clear and measurable learning goals. Based on this meta-analysis, it can be concluded that OBE is an effective approach to improving students' competencies in the Bakery course, particularly in enhancing practical skills and job readiness.
