Abstrak

Many parents do not pay attention to the importance of self-confidence in children. Parents who do not pay attention to the development of their children will make the child not in good development, if this is allowed, it will greatly affect the child's personality. Therefore, this self-confidence must be grown from an early age with the right environment and methods. This study uses descriptive qualitative, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of speech or writing and the behavior of people who are observed in a certain context which is studied from a complete, comprehensive, and holistic point of view. The results show (1) The learning process is carried out using a habituation model in each activity, also using the storytelling method with a 9-pillar character book. (2) There are many supporting factors in this learning model, such as one of the teachers being very creative in providing various learning methods every day. While the inhibiting factor is parents who do not care about the development of their children. (3) Providing concrete stimulation to train children's confidence by involving children in practical daily activities at RA Al Firdaus Banjaragung Puri Mojokerto.
