Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial telah menciptakan ruang baru bagi remaja untuk mengevaluasi diri melalui perbandingan dengan individu lain, termasuk dalam aspek pencapaian, gaya hidup, penampilan, dan keberagamaan. Perbandingan sosial digital yang berlangsung secara intensif berpotensi memengaruhi kemampuan remaja dalam mempertahankan keseimbangan dan ketahanan spiritual. Dalam konteks tersebut, religious coping dapat menjadi mekanisme psikologis yang membantu remaja menghadapi tekanan dan ketidakpastian yang muncul dari pengalaman digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara perbandingan sosial digital dan ketahanan spiritual serta menguji peran religious coping sebagai mediator pada siswa sekolah menengah di Sidoarjo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional eksplanatori. Data dikumpulkan dari 250 siswa SMA, MA, dan SMK di Sidoarjo melalui skala perbandingan sosial digital, religious coping, dan ketahanan spiritual dengan model pengukuran berbasis skala Likert. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, korelasi Pearson, regresi linear, dan analisis mediasi berbasis bootstrapping. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menunjukkan pola hubungan antara intensitas perbandingan sosial digital, penggunaan strategi religious coping, dan ketahanan spiritual remaja. Secara khusus, penelitian diarahkan untuk menguji apakah religious coping dapat menjadi mekanisme psikologis yang menjelaskan hubungan antara pengalaman perbandingan sosial digital dan ketahanan spiritual. Temuan penelitian diharapkan memperkaya kajian Ilmu Jiwa Agama mengenai dinamika keberagamaan remaja di ruang digital sekaligus memberikan dasar empiris bagi pengembangan pendampingan psikospiritual yang lebih kontekstual di lingkungan sekolah.
