Kreatifitas Peserta Didik di Pesantren dan non Pesantren: Analisis dengan Wallach-Kogan Creativity Test

Abstract

Kreatifitas merupakan kompetensi yang mutlak dibutuhkan di abad 21. Disisi lain, pesantren merupakan budaya yang mendominasi pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Oleh karenanya, penting dilakukan kajian tentang kreatifitas anak di pesantren sebagai salah satu upaya pengembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kreativitas siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah di pesantren dan non pesantren. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparasi. Sampel terdiri dari 35 siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah di pesantren dan 31 siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Non Pesantren. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan Wallach-Kogan Creativity Test. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif statistik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kreatifitas siswa pesantren dalam aspek fluency dan flexibility lebih baik dari pada kreatifitas siswa non pesantren. Sedangkan dalam aspek uniques, kreatifitas siswa non pesantren lebih baik dari pada kreatifitas siswa pesantren. Dalam aspek unsusallness tingkat kreatifitas siswa pesantren dan non pesantren berada dalam kategori sama. Keterampilan siswa dalam aspek fluency dan flexibility jauh lebih baik dari pada aspek uniques dan unusualness. Perlu dicarikan variasi solusi untuk meningkatkan aspek uniques dan unusualness siswa mengingat hakikat dari kreatifitas adalah novel.
